Allan Dawson
Bio

Allan Dawson is a singer songwriter and guitarist based in London, UK.

Allan began performing at the age of 14 to a live audience of 3,000 people. During his teens and early twenties he worked in several band projects, playing frequent live concerts before becoming a solo artist, which led him to headline the Camden music scene. He went on to produce and present a pioneering web radio station, "Waking Up the Neighbours!" drawing 20,000 listeners per week.  After this he devoted more time to his engineering and production skills, travelling the world as a producer broadcasting live events; and working as a live sound engineer with artists such as Belinda Carlisle, Runrig, Carmel, Southside Johnny and the Asbry Jukes, Jesus Jones, Shed 7 and Hawkwind to name a few.

Allan Dawson's second and third albums "Angels" and "Alligators" were issued jointly in 2009 as a dual release project. The tracks were recorded live in a series of showcase sessions to capture the excitement of a live atmosphere. The two albums are very different in style - Alligators is a fully produced electric rock album while Angels is a more intimate acoustic + vocal collection.

His debut album "Killing Time" was recorded in 1995 and was remastered and re-released in 2010 to celebrate its 15th Anniversary.

Allan has now embarked on recording his fourth album, an incremental album project with the working title "Dangerous At Any Speed" likely to be completed in 2011, with several interim releases due in the build up to the final album release.
